Exodus Projects Ltd, is a Ugandan non-profit organization established in 2017 to provide Ugandans living in the northern districts of Uganda a way out of their spiritual, cultural and economic ditches by facilitating access to high quality biblically guided educational opportunities, employment, and leadership and business development training. The Exodus Projects team will work to develop a variety of educational processes and facilities that will provide a context in which to employ and train local Ugandans, give them access to various levels of educational opportunities, and equip them for spiritual leadership through Biblically driven discipleship training. The initial primary target group has been women living in Karuma who have been forced into the sex trade largely due to economic and cultural forces that they feel powerless to resist.

Since early 2017, about fifteen acres of land has been acquired and the development of the property is well underway. In addition to a handful of men, we have been able to employ 10 women, all but one (our supervisor of women) of whom have come out of the local prosititution trade and have begun to learn various aspects of construction as those have been utilized in the process of property development. Each week the team meets for bible study and prayer, and all are encouraged, though not required, to attend a small church meeting that meets on the property on Sundays. Memorizing and discussing key passages of the Bible has been a key component of this discipleship process.
